Shihan Tim Leonard (6th degree blackbelt)
Tim Leonard started his karate training in Manitoba in 1980. He opened his first karate club in 1985 at the North End YMCA in Winnipeg and then a second club in a Winnipeg community centre.

Sensei Shane Hale (4th degree blackbelt)
Shane started his training in 1999 at the Toshikai Dojo of Ottawa in which he is now an instructor. Shane's martial arts interests are primarily in weapons, boxing, and self-defence.

Sensei Deb Fuchek (3rd degree blackbelt)
Deb Fuchek began her study of martial arts at the very young age of six. From 1974-1977, she practised judo, achieving a blue belt and winning an eventual bronze medal at the Junior Olympics in Judo in Toronto in 1977.
